How We Calculate This

Water Calculation

Mash water = Grain weight x Water-to-grain ratio

Pre-boil target = Batch size + Boil-off + Trub loss

Sparge water = Pre-boil target - (Mash water - Grain absorption - Dead space)

Total water = Mash water + Sparge water
